There’s a certain kind of restaurant that tries too hard to impress—and then there’s Harry & Izzy’s, which quietly earns your respect instead.
From the outside, it looks like a classic American steakhouse. Step inside, and you’ll notice something different. It’s not intimidating. It doesn’t demand silence or strict etiquette. Instead, it invites you to enjoy yourself.
The menu reflects that same philosophy. It’s not overloaded with trendy dishes or experimental cuisine. Instead, it focuses on what works: steaks, seafood, and classic sides.

I went with the filet mignon and a side of mashed potatoes. The steak was tender, cooked exactly to order, and seasoned just enough to let the natural flavors shine. The mashed potatoes were creamy and comforting—nothing fancy, just done right.
Dessert was where things really stood out. The bread pudding was rich, warm, and indulgent. It felt like something homemade rather than mass-produced, and it left a lasting impression.
But let’s be honest—the service isn’t always perfect. During my visit, there were moments of delay. Drinks took longer than expected, and it took some effort to get attention at times.
Still, the staff was polite and genuine, which made up for the inconsistency. It felt less like a luxury experience and more like a human one.
And maybe that’s the point. Harry & Izzy’s doesn’t aim to overwhelm you—it aims to satisfy you.
If you want a place where you can enjoy a great steak without feeling out of place, this restaurant delivers exactly that.
